Tianzhu Zhang

I am a research scientist at Nokia Bell Labs and an Associate Member of the Laboratory of Information, Networking and Communication Sciences (LINCS). In 2012, I graduated from the computer science department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) with a Bachelor of Science degree. In October 2014, I obtained my Master of Science degree in computer and communication networks engineering from Politecnico di Torino (Polito) in Turin, Italy. From November 2014 to November 2017, I was a PhD candidate in a joint program between PoliTo and Telecom Italia under the supervision of Prof. Paolo Giaccone. From June to August 2017, I participated in a 3-month internship at Nokia Bell Labs under the supervision of Dr. Massimo Gallo. From October 2017 to November 2019, I was a PostDoc researcher at LINCS under a research grant from Telecom ParisTech and Cisco Systems. I had the pleasure to collaborate with Prof. Dario Rossi and Prof. Luigi Iannone. My research centered around Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), and High-speed network systems. I am also highly interested in applied AI/ML in real systems.
